Experiences from practice
A client’s example:
Three brothers use CerQana Care app to monitor their mother, a senior woman totaly capable and independent but with some very early stages of dementia. They have set her home as a safe zone so they know when she goes out, and she has very strict routines, going to church, to buy bread, etc.; so if CerQana detects any deviation from those routines, it notifies them.
She calls one of them every day using the simplified user expirience CerQana provides, and she even recieves familly pictures on her smartphone.
Use case of CEDES, foundation devoted to helping young people with intellectual disabilities. They have a route that picks up the children from certain points and brings them daily to the center. It is a public service offered by the city council to translate people with disabilities. Since no relative nor caregiver is allowed on that bus, CEDES’s children are tracked with CerQana, so both their relatives and CEDES’s caregivers know they arrive safely. In Spanish only.
Use case of Aucavi school for people with autism in Madrid, Spain. During 2017-18 school year, a group of autistic students learn to use a smartphone and interact with social networks and other social platform in a controlled manner using CerQana to ease their access to a smartphone.
