Mocca ONE is an enterprise solution for care providers covering the areas of home care, residential care, 24h care and tele care. The tele care module is branded JAMES.
The JAMES module offers:
• JAMES Safety Watch for care assistance (also SafeMotion™ watch for lone workers) which supports thousands of client’s safety in Europe, the USA and Australia every day.
• JAMES Health which allows remote monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar, cardiac insufficiency and body weight measurements.
• JAMES Community which supports social integration through chat, video and audio communication and local events.


The JAMES solution is a fully integrated AAL platform to support people to live at home for longer, with greater independence and included in local social networks. JAMES enables care providers to support their clients remotely in the areas of safety, health and social inclusion and therefore building new services and new business models within tele care.

Depending on MOCCA ONE module. In case of home care: optimum utilization of staff. In case of dementia care: each search of a people wandering cost the tax payer thousands of euros where a person using the JAMES safety watch can be located within minutes in- and outdoors.

Cost of product

Depending on used products and services, the cost consists of one off cost for the hardware (max. € 500.-) and a monthly usage subscription ranging from 10.00 Euro to 99.00 Euro.

Life expectancy of product

3 years for the safety watch, min. 5 years for health and social components.

Free for single B2C clients. For B2B projects, the cost depends on the project requirements.

The solution provides products for personal use as well as for care environments (e.g. supported living), professional care providers and relatives.

Is the product intended for training purposes?

The product is already in the market and used by thousands of individuals and care staff worldwide.
Training environments can be set up based on request.

How much time is needed for the user or staff to get to know how to use of the product?

Staff receive training sessions based on their needs. Up to one or two days, depending on the modules which are activated.
End Users can use some products such as the Safety Watch without training out of the box.

Has the product been presented before at other exhibitions or venues?

The JAMES safety watch was launched for the market on the WMC 2017 in Barcelona and the CES 2018 in Las Vegas and also won different awards such as the International Silver Eco Award 2018 in Paris. The JAMES Tele-Care solution was not presented before.

The JAMES safety watch provides safety and independence to ten thousand individuals worldwide with very positive response.
The JAMES health and social integration modules were launched in the market 2019 with positive response and increasing interest in the market.

In the USA through the reseller Medical Guardian under the name “Freedom Watch”. In Australia under the name “iCare Watch”. In Europe, the product supports the German Red Cross (beside many others) to provide their mobile emergency services.

The JAMES health and community modules were successfully evaluated in the AAL program (AAL JP) Smart VitAALity  and WAALTeR  in Austria, supported by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).
