The unit is installed on the user's existing toilet bowl. At the AAL Forum exhibition, J. Honoré Care will be showcasing the newest feature of CareBidets – an inbuilt sensor for analytical use.

CareBidets is a product that ensures dignity and self-dependence for older adults and people with reduced mobility when using the toilet. At the AAL Forum exhibition, J. Honoré Care will be showcasing the newest feature of CareBidets – an inbuilt sensor for analytical use. The sensor can provide data on how all the active units are used in a nursing home for example. This data can then be displayed on iPad’s, smartphones etc. and serve as a discrete and objective analytical tool for carers or implementation experts in their daily tasks.

Target group

People in need of assistance when going to the toilet. It could be elderly or persons with reduced mobility. Further, the product is helpful to people with frequent UTI issues.

Impact for citizen

Create independency going to the toilet. The user doesn’t have to wait for care takers or family to help them, when going to the toilet. More hygienic cleaning of intimate areas. Reduces the occurrences of UTI issues.

Impact for staff

Better working environment for care takers. The new sensor will enable care givers to use their time better and track the health of their patients more closely.

Economic impact

CareBidets has proven to save 52 min per user each week in the Aarhus Municipality. The sensor will provide valuable data for professionals in the municipal to improve the ROI of CareBidets even more. If some units aren’t used regularly it will be possible to offer additional education of the product. Or maybe the product is no longer useful in its current location and could be more beneficial in another setting.
