The eWare consortium develops an ICT infrastructure, which is interoperable and scalable, integrating the Sensara sensor network (PIR and door sensors) and the Tessa’s social robot of Tinybots. The Sensara sensor network is used to define the ADLs of the person with dementia, using intelligent algorithms and data mining solutions on the signals. The Sensara network is connected with the Tessa robot by the eWare API, which can provide a real bidirectional interaction with the person with dementia and caregivers using the combined data (collected in the eWare Cloud) acquired from the two systems.

Purpose

The eWare European project support people with dementia (in the mild to middle stage of dementia), living alone at home, to be
independent, improving their wellbeing and reducing subjective stress of the patient community and their caregivers.
